The UCLA Children’s Friendship Program, is an evidence-based, 12-week social skills program, that helps elementary school children who have trouble making or keeping friends learn new social skills through behavioral rehearsal and exposure. Sessions are led by licensed clinical psychologists.

“Parent 1 speaks highly of UCLA's social skills groups and said this friendship program appeared to accept children starting in second grade. Parent 2 reports that earlier online sessions taught play-entry scripts and peer interaction. Parent 3 says the program was very helpful years ago, with calls between children; delivery and format may have changed since then.
