From a parent: “they let the kids get as dirty as they want and just play with natural materials they find in nature, mud, sticks, splashing in streams. They don’t tell the kids “no” but they do keep them safe and engaged. Typically a high ratio of counselor to camper I think there were 13 or 14 kids with 3 counselors and a junior counselor. They start at age 5. During the year they also run a preschool - fully outdoors. Just the ride in the van to different nature spots and then they just play outside”
